The 2001 EXP Speed 8 was Bentley's return to Le Mans after 4 decades and 3rd at Le Mans 2001 wasn't a bad start!
Tapping into Audi's Le Mans experience (Audi owns Bentley), Bentley had opted for the (closed) LMGTP class.
While the EXP Speed 8 undoubtedly was influenced by Audi's 1999 closed top R8C LMGTP, the only component that Audi and Bentley shared is the engine block.

Proof that Bentley isn't interested in simply making up the numbers can be found in the big transfer of key personell from Audi and Joest racing to England. There they will play a waiting game until the new (more equal) GTP regulations will fall in place in 2004.

Resin Full Curb side kit

Contents

Multi piece resin body with opening doors and full detailed engine.

This is a Goldline Multi media kit with many photo etched and white metal parts and full decal sheet.

Slot conversion remarks

Actually this kit is far to beautiful to wreck it on a slottrack, but as some of you won't be able to resist this racing green monster ...be warned.

The modifications needed for Sidewinder spur gear and Ikarachi type Motors are the least of your worries.

Al those movable parts will have to be sacrificed to build a slot resistant body.

At least in the sprints there's the possibility to run the car without having to modify the rear.

Lets hope that LMM will release a slotkit version like they did with the Audi R8 and the Panoz!!!
