The Lola B98/10 was the first serious second generation customer prototype.
It was a bold attempt to create a car that was capable of running up front but affordable for the privateer to run.
In some ways it was too ambitious. In others it became the building block for further developments of the Lola customer LMPs such as the B2K/10.
Even the current Lola-MG EX257 can trace its lineage to the B98/10.
Several B98/10's were raced at Le Mans , one special case is the 99 Motorola Dams car, that was pulled out of retirement in 2002 to star as the Valliant in Luc Besson's race pic.
