A GT3-spec racing version of the SLS AMG was unveiled at the 2010 New York Auto Show. It is set to compete in national GT3 championships before being allowed race in the FIA GT3 Championship in 2011.[12] At VLN Nürburgring, the SLS AMG GT3 was admitted into the SP9 class with "Balance of Performance" set to 1350 kg and 556 PS,[13] and won its first race in October.The car also won the 2012 24 Hours of Dubai under Black Falcon Racing.
25 SLS AMG GT3's were built for competition with only one not racing in Europe. Erebus Racing who race in the Australian GT Championship run the car which is driven by Peter Hackett who is also the Chief Instructor at the Australian Mercedes Benz Driving Academy.

Scaleauto presents its second release of the spectacular Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 at scale 1/24. (SC-7024)
Colorful car livery participant in the 2011 Spain GT Championship / Iber GT in Jarama circuit in Madrid, under the orders of the Portuguese Vodafone BP Ultimate Team and sponsored by Samsung.
With the number # 23, and driven by Antonio Coimbra and Luis Silva, finished 5th and 3rd place in its GTS category during the weekend. Detailed with a beautiful color reproduction, tampo printed and with many perfect photoetched parts in its various inlets. Regarding the mechanical incorporates the improved R2 chassis, with SC-26 motor and a ratio of 44/12.
Also available in fully assembled and painted single body with the interior including plastic supports.
