The 30 laps lost after their body came unstuck meant that DVR had to play a waiting game. There was still 6hrs to go and a lenghty RfH pitstop could easily turn the tables around.
DVR's R8 was faster than the RfH Dome when their motor was cool, but seemed to loose more performance as things heated up.
Running a different gear ratio than RfH they also lacked top speed on the outerlanes.
