Toyota TS030 and Lancia LC2
Hello everyone,
I don't post very often but I wanted to show you a few of my last creations.
Many of it is the work of preparing the cars to be copied in carbon fibre and glassfibre.
To start with, the Toyota TS030 that I want to build, has front wheels arches having room for 30,5mm wheels. As in the races where I race 26,5 is the
rule and standard, I decided to modify the model. In total I chopped and cut each wheelarch 8 times.
I also had to raise the rear deck a little bit to provide room for our motors, and widen the rear arches inwords a little bit so that our spurgears
can fit. Here are some pictures...
I also did a Lancia LC2, based of the old Tamtech body, and built in the light units..
After laminating, they look like this. Around 15-17 grams and very durable indeed.
And here's my last Corvette that I built (International GT Open livery)
I hope you've enjoyed!

Continuing on,
Even though the kit provided metal parts for the rear louvres, I found them to be very thick und crude. So I decided to make them myself from thin
plastic sheet.
Afterwords I continued on with the front flaps and assembly.
For chassis we will use a Doslot OBG LMP chassis, as Sebastian Nockemann (Doslot) and I (NDW Parts) will participate in a 6hr race in 3 weeks, on a
monstrously big wooden track at Icar in Iqualada, Spain.
Here are the pics.

I finally recovered a little from the hard, long and very warm race.
Being never more then 2 laps apart, and an advantage of 3 meters at halftime and missing out of the win by 3/4 of a lap after 6 hours should give you
an indication of how close and hardfought this race was.
Finding the grip with our longtail Toyota wasn't so easy and mistakes were easily made on this challenging track.
It was a great weekend with a great result, having NDWparts bodies on positions 1, 2 and 3 (on a car that I borrowed to one of the teams, on a NDW
Easy chassis)!
