Le Mans Legends @ Spa Francorchamps
Hello Slotters
Developments on the idea of having a Le Mans Legends type of race with Group C/ WSC modelcars @ the Spa Francorchamps/Alsdorf track are going a bit
faster than we had planned.
Specially now since some of you "regulars" started using a "backdoor" to pre enter your teams & cars
So I have added some more info to the event entry page. as to give you a better idea on what we plan to achieve with this event and how we will go about to achieve
these plans.
So check the link for the info and post questions concerning this event in this thread.

Hello Tamar,
Any chance in entering Zmachine through the Frontdoor
with the 956 Skoal Bandit#33 1984 ?
Driver#1 : myself
Driver#2 : faster than I, it wouldn't be so hard to find
Driver#3 : tbd
Always happy to meet you in Alsdorf,
with my best regards,
Philippe

You mean this car....
Hello Philippe
I know that you are a more than experienced modeller. You would like to run a run of the mill standard 956?? Phillipe you can do better than that. Ok
I'll make you a deal......
You can run the 956, but run it in the Shorttail version as it ran at Spa Francorchamps 1984 ( see pic below)
Have not seen anybody running a proper correctly build 956 shorttail, while in principle all you need to do is combine the front of the Tamiya 956
with the rear of the Tamiya 962....
Like I said;
With the event taking place at one of the finest model(slot)tracks in the world, the grid deserves to be filled with no less than the finest of
modelcars.

Hey Tamar,
I have a short tail transkit for the Porsche 956 from Tamiya.
It was (or still is) made by Speedline.
