the final 8 has to drive 5 min in each track.
in the first heat on lap 3 both Ole and his son Jakob already had crash more than once  and the 3 Ferraris of mine has take the lead with Gorm on track 5 as the first, Christian on track 2 and I on track 1 (the slowest)
close behind.
Gorm wins the first heat with 1,5 lap down to me.
after heat 4 the top was very close

and the final stint, Keld had track 2 and Gorm track 3 the fastest of them, but Keld had 3 quarter of a lap, after 4 min. the cars was in the same
positions Gorm couldnt catch me, but as Gert would say, it aint over until the fat lady sings.
50 sec. before the end Keld is going of the track, and the marshal was ½ asleep after 10 min without any cars of track, everybody going nervous, Gorm
driving by, and in the next corner Gorm is going of track, here the marshall was alive 
and out of the dougnut comes top 2, the yellow 575, 3 cm. in front of the red 575, the red has the fastest track, but the next lap Keld in the Yellow
are driving like hell, and his best friend and business partner Gorm in the red is pushing everything, the 2 cars going arund the track with 1 to 5
cm. between the cars.
2 laps - 3 laps - 4 laps and still only 2 cm. between them 
the cars come up to the dohgnut for the last time and on the way in the dognut Gorm is closing in going side by side to Keld, Keld i driving on the
outside on 2 wheels pushing the car over the limit to defend the lead, and capow, the car go off the track.

Sounded like a very exciting final. Nice to see the "Old Boys" still have what it takes. Even with the 2 laps added, Christian would not have won.
Marshall's cant live with them, cant live without them..was he so upset about it that he lost concentration?
Good write up and congratulations with another succesfull Danish Nats.
Are there any pictures from the Nats...would be nice to have some.
Then I can turn your post into a news article
p.s. I know its all suposed to be about winning, but 2nd place....not so bad

KOF is Karsten O. Frederiksen - a well known slotracer i Denmark, who primarily have been racing 1/32 and some White Point. He used to run the Danish

Yes Christian get upset, fair enough, and had a ekstra crash later on the same lap, but without the crash I think he had won, and again the marshall
isnt paid for the job, so you can only blaim yourself falling off.
2.nd place is ok when its my car is winning,
last year 2 cars 1.st and 2.nd, this year 3 cars 1,2,3 
but ofcourse now i has to listen to Gorm the next 13 month (we try to move the race to Marts because the holidays in feb.)
