Hi guys,
While this event also sounds very exciting, I'm not sure about running the FIA GT cars and the weight calculator using the Plafit Fox 2 motor..
Our friends in Aus have also adopted the Ferrari/IMCA rules to get them up to speed, but apparently have found the Fox 2 motors do not handle the
heavy cars, and get VERY hot.. They have had to reduce the weight to 180 grams and less just to keep the motors alive.
What we've done in South Africa is used the Yellow Scaleauto SC0012 motor, which has almost identical speed to the Proslot and Fox motors on that
gearing..
Thought you might be interested.
Kind regards
Big Al

FYI
We race since a few years with the Cheetah 2 motor on gearing 8-9 / 42-46.
Weight of our cars varies from 180-240 gr. No problem here except for normal motor wear.
Best regards.
Philippe.

Hello Racers,
I have Yesterday make some test, with new Grip on the track and a 204 g Car with Procom 3 Tires and Foy 2 Motor @ 11,5V and i dind´t notice after 100
turns any changes on the Motor, this with a very high speed combination gearinf 11 / 39. Now i have to talk to Tamar and ask him if it possible to
make an WeightCalculator for the Fox II motor, naturally the cars will get mucht Lighter because the fox II isn´t so Powefull like The Euro MK. In
the other hand i Think that The FoxII ias a really reliable Motor with a Reasonable Price (around 8€) Iam also Talking to Drivers in Germany The
have a lot of Experience With Fox II and Spongetires on Woodentracks and i will get a lotz of Input about how "Fat " have to be an Slotcar with this
kind of Motor.
I will keep you all informed.
Regards
Oscar
