IMCA 2008 F430 Challenge
Hi
Since this thread is now the unofficial IMCA forum I have a couple of questions regarding the EEC:
1. In another thread I saw some months ago there was a discussion regarding decals for the EEC. If I remember correct someone was trying to organize
a joint effort to collect the decals. Is that effort still running?
2. I’m running a Ferrari 430 for the EEC. My plan was to convert the Revell street set to a GT version, as described by Tamar in another thread in
this forum. But when my “colleagues” from Norway come home from the World’s one of them (Børge) brought home some Nick de Wachter body’s
(Lambo Murciélago and one more). Is it any one out there that has done the same with the F430? I would in that case be interested in buying 3
body’s, since the we do not have the knowledge of molding our own.
Rgds

IMCA 2008 F430 Challenge
Rolf,
check the rule book at http://www.imca-slotracing.com/rulebook0608.html.
It says the F430 are to be built with a Fujimi kit.
No other bodies are allowed.
Correction: this is only true for the sprint races at the 2008 Worlds - doesn't apply for the EEC
cheers,
-g

F430 Challenge and F430 GT2
Hello Rolf
I have to correct my colleague Mr G on this one. What Gabe revers to is the F430 body for the 2008 IMCA world's Sprintraces.
Here the individual slotracers must use the Fujimi 430 Challenge body.
Teams running a F430 in the EEC (European Endurance Championship) can use any body as long as the result is a 1/24 copy of the F430 GT2
So you there can use both Revell and the Fujimi kit.
Nick is planning a full GFK F430 body kit, we already have the lexan windows and cockpit interior.
Contact him for further details.
Concerning the decals, we're still working on those, but please use this thread to check on developments and post questions.
I'm willing to moderate this "unofficial" forum, but a bit of post dicipline by the users will help to keep things clear and my workload down

Hi Rolf
I will be combining efforts with Tamar Nick and RFH to get the unavailable Decal Sheets /logos
drawn and printed so keep checking for updates.
Gabe is only half correct.... the Fujimi kit is mandatory only for the IMCA Worlds of 2008, for the endurance races a Home brewed F430 GT2 (Modified
Fujimi or Revell) version will be allowed. I can Imagine that Nick and Tamar will be doing one, I might give it a go myself.... have to see.
Which version will you be running?
Regards,
Fola
