Hi everyone,
We came back this morning at 6, pew, tough drive up thru Germany, doing 180-190 all the way, braking several speed limits when we finaly hit Denmark,
it is hard to acclimatise from flat out driving to puttering along at 110!
Bottom line is! Thanks RfH - Willem, Gabe, Nick and Tamar - for organising the Spa Re-visited, it was my first visit to the infamous Spa slot track,
and it was GREAT. It must surely be some sort of holy grail for slot racers this Spa track!!
I am happy that White Mouse Racing was there, and that we did not fall completely flat on our faces! We will most certainly be back some other
time!
To everyone that we talked to, and especially those of you who shared your knowledge of the track!! Thanks!!
We did miss out on saying goodbye to a few of you yesterday, we where in a hurry to get back to DK, but SEE YOU ALL NEXT TIME!!!
On behalf of White Mouse Racing (Mark and Pål)
Cheers,
Paal Hanson

Dear Legends,
We are all part of History.
Some more Slotrace History has been written last weekend.
Let me tell you some Slot History;
There was a race, in the autum of the year 2007.
The great diversity of cars, chassis, materials, detail, aswell the people, made that race a special one.
It was a great race!
What do I need to tell you more.......
We all have written this part of Slot History, partisionating in the last's wonderful 1:24 FIA GT race.
Thanks to all Legends for the battle's on the track.
Many Thanks to the organisation for creating an open empty book, so we all could write a part, in this part of Slot History.
Looking forward, towards another FIA Gt event in the future, following the path that leads me to higher rankings inn Slotracing future.
Sideways.

I've written a weekend impression from our (WEAM Teams) point of view. Unfortunately for some of you it's in Dutch. Keep in mind that my first
language is the Frisian so I have problems with the Dutch too. Just try or die trying. Viel spass!

Nice one
Well written, and for the non Dutch readers, if you really want to have a good laugh, try http://babelfish.altavista.com for a direct online translation from Dutch to German/English etc etc.
It might not be correct grammar, but its certainly fun!

Babel fish"ed" Weam team report
As it comes from the webtranslator
13 October 07 WEAM team 001 covers RFH 8 and 28!
Last weekend WEAM team 001 and WEAM team have fought 002 with teams still 16 for the profit in multinational 1/24 FIA GT game in the German Alsdorf. A
weekend report:
The set-up of this game was with 18 teams with two rijders two drive heats of an hour.
Zie:www.slotracinglemans.com. weeks for the game the preparations have started with two teams and therefore 2 cars participate. Wietse made the most
beautiful corvette C6 of the whole participant field (did not win undeserved the concours d Elegance), and tested the Schöler prepared Hans chassis
of WEAM team 002 and Erwin the Plafit SLP chassis 001 on houten the job in Saint Annaparochie.
Already wide for the weekend was do there much, there a second car had become built and we wanted perform well. Therefore a training session inserted
at our slotracevrienden "with nocht door the turning" in Saint Annaparochie where a beautiful white houten eight track stands. We were very received
pleasantly and could to hartelust work for the afstelling of both carriages. That a this good idea was separately pale then there two schoefjes of the
h plate of 001 came and somewhere on the job layers. Well that this happened here and in Alsdorf (or nevertheless actual, however, at 002). 001
eventual 0.3 seconde was not slower than 001. according to team 002 this lay to the engine. In lion ears the engine was changed and ready we for
Alsdorf.
To the need destiny beat and André were not unfortunately nevertheless possible concerning sickness. Johan had the chance this of solving crisis but
chose for its hedge which had be cut necessary. WEAM team 001 could not go therefore. at night around 2.00 Erwin decided in the assumption
nevertheless go that there experience, however, of the in Alsdorf concerning would be. If need be, if the game control would allow this, we could man
both teams with three rijders.
After a pleasant travel with what omwegen because the TOMs TOMs van Wietse did not give at home and were the routeplanner of Hans onbetrouwbaar we
came using a route card (anno 2007!?) to in the Titanic bowling hall where the terrible circuit the shovel Francorchamps stands built. You want drive
ever once more on fantastic slotracebaan then are this ultimate. More than 50 meters zes-spoors wood with the provocative turning Eau rouge which
exactly, however, exactly voluit is not possible and with the correct unevennesses being appropriate at every turning. In a word sensational.
Of course direct both cars on the job where 001 the corvette put down, just as Willem tested, a high-speed time from 8.60 seconde. Willem pretended
remove the tip veertjes (h plate) to get a still better position. Erwin took this recommendation for the harte and experimented with several
afstellingen. Unfortunately the round time was not approached more real (8.90) and was the time for. Teams also other could no longer obtain their
fastest times at the beginning of the afternoon therefore it, however, to gripperige the job will have been due. Toch there also now still doubt
remains or this, however, this way was.
002 The corvette lagged behind in round times (9.60 sec.) and position. That last was solved by twisting the being loose achtertrein the being loose
clean and later. The remaining available time was spent to get the car inspected (weight, altitude, breadth, etc.). 001 Something too low and was
lacking there a square wiper was, 002 had problems with the uitlijning, walking towards the wheels in the cap, placing lead and still what matter.
Eventually both cars well and were possible to the Parc Fermé.
For technical dates of the cars: http://www.slotracinglemans.com/newforum/viewthread.php?tid=1055&page=1#pid5843
Then verify it time was in in the Greek hotel Radhaus, on "kruipafstand" of the Titanic bowling and the kroeg. We needed still an a person chamber
concerning swift cancel of a chamber by André. These could we subleted get of barrel J. so that there Hans could lie snore vrijuit.
Vervolgens this way consumed around 23.00 a nice diner in the associated restaurant with much Greek flesh and beer. And afterwards still afgepilst in
the kroeg to the overkant. s night ran we the RFH teams against the lijf which still a number of Bailey's will drink. We were judiciously and tried
what night's rest to get. Except Hans appeared later because the Bailey's magnet frequently proved to be stronger than klaas.
_ the follow morning after the breakfast 9.30 hour present at the job and after the briefing of Tamar can the team that exactly be arrive go around
train. Around 11.00 uuur the qualification started where 18 the team had been classified in three heats and there were sessions of 2 minutes by job
your fastest round time be able put. WEAM team 002 reached with of the Hans up to 9.44 seconden this brought 13de the place on the start file (heat 3
therefore). Team 001 with of the Erwin drove 9.12 and that was place 8 (heat 2).
In spite of a lot of (bel)pogingen of the which to find Erwin could not assist savage in team 001 to succeed the someone to reach. Therefore
nevertheless with its drieën two teams twist. Private became that Hans 4 would drive stints with 002 the corvette and Erwin 4 stints with 001 the
corvette. Wietse would drive firstly 2 stints with 002 and later still 2 stints with the 001st Wietse were used (voluntarily) on most difficult but
also the most beautiful job 1 and 6 so that he in this the expert became and it maximum could be performed.
Both WEAM teams went well after only familiarisation to the job and the game. We were able for a long time very constant put down rounds and the
foutjes to limit. After an hour for driving (first heat) sheaves of both teams by their good performance heat. By among other things unexpected
bandenwissel was team 001 not able 4 catch the place and continued put at place 6, only 1 round behind the places 4 and 5 and 5 rounds behind place 3.
optimism therefore for the second heat. A fourth place had be feasable. It was beautiful that we had remained 2 of 3 the RFH teams for. The Lambo van
Willem and Ronald had charge of a slow engine in spite of three engine sure awls. Willem:"Ik never drive a game with these flutmotoren. Remarkably
was, however, that the second heat this slow engine was all of a sudden no longer slow. Perhaps nevertheless wasn't something else?
There an engine comes very slow must be wide 22 rounds delay on WEAM team 001 incur and vervolgens in heat two with 10 rounds these to reduce at
that.
Anyway, we had to them graze nicely. THE RFH team of Tamar and Gabriël with also Lambo Murcielago R-GT had too frequently obtain the car because of
panne of the job in the second heat.
Unfortunately team RFH 1 with the Maserati MC 12 much was too rapidly for the rest of the field. This car was real of another planet. Also the other
Maserati were only keep up because these awful long in the pip stood. Here must be looked at once lawfully to m.i..
With view on a fourth place Wietse went there with 001 C6 against. By what wedstrijddruk resulted small foutje and a dreun of rushing Maserati that
001 C6 concerning the crash barrier the gekatapulteerd became and on the ground rightly came. Afterwards appeared that because of this the right
voorwielophanging declined considerably were. Consequence of this was a swinging voorwiel and onbetrouwbare a position (more uitvliegers). Where
Wietse and Erwin that it lay to their own onscherpte thought were this therefore not this way. Fortunately we could preserve 6th the stek, however,
but was jammer it. Small incidentje with the RFH Lambo Ronald driven and found oneself used by (top hall) Hans led almost to a scuffle between both
lords. The game control shone by nietsdoen where a penalty because of misbehaviour at its place had been. Fortunately were possible the both
afterwards the hands become armses and regretted question.
With an eventual 12de (002) and 6th (001) place the game and the day beeindigd became.

After the humoristic distribution Tamar could be taken there farewell of all German, Danish, Belgian and Dutch teams. Around 23.30 by means of the
citizen King to house. At approximately 3.30 both WEAM could enjoy teams their very deserved night's rest.
Our thanks goes out to everyone whom this event has made possible. Particularly we want Tamar, Gabriël (the imperturbable rock in the undertow),
Willem, Ronald, Nick and Emily thanks for their good work with everyone is or its own speciality. Also Fola must be called as a rescuer of the results
of heat (took a photograph of the display device flat before all results disappeared were).
We have had much fun and rather to good performed in spite of that there more possible had been. And "Wu binne wer efkes loose weest fan't wiif!"
To a next time!
WK in Oslo
Remarkably:
Wietse both forgot the clean and twist the achtertrein of 002 fixed, of it suspected also became this at the car of virage to have done as a result of
which finished this winner of the qualification as a last, 001 on the floor get (it remains a bordspel) as a result the voorwiel could irreparably
damaged, in two teams drove, most beautiful coachwork made, the specialist became on job 1 and 6, is TOMs TOMs refused and therefore gone astray, the
largest PDA had, with Erwin in 1 bed slept, an enormous sorbet consumed.
Hans the chaufeur were, the achterdemper almost lost, a giant of 2 m. + at lijf want, marshall foutje made, now weet how goor Baileys taste, even
after the citizen King (Shell) gehaktstaaf consumed, thus hard snored that clearance alarm threatened for remaining hotel guests, on job 2 high-speed
was, the afternoon dresser missed, still (against better know) belief has in the speed of the Schöler chassis, most of the "hedge cut" joke has
considered, to Gert Klinge(team virage) for speed tips asked, as 13de qualified.
Erwin, however, 20 have rung time to a substitute for the sick André and the hedge cutting Johan, almost with the Lambo van Rfh 8 drove, always 2 ipv
got 1 bounty, Hans still could stop net on time, much are teased with buitenom to catch up with, Greek has done, a hotel chamber has subleted of
barrel j, the heupgordel flat for lion ears just well fixed got, an enormous sorbet consumed, Wietse a round time decline of 0.10 seconde as from 9.00
seconden by rondje permits savage, generally it was collided at buitenom catch up with, as 8th qualified.

I'm very sad and dissapointed to see that my carefully composed sentences has been reduced to some kind of international "hutspot". It reads like "Koeterwaals" (isn't that a South African expression?).
