Aston Martin DB9R I saw a lot of them in Nürnberg in 1/24, just a guess
I Also saw the Masarati down there, a Italien company make it.
4 cars that all, i got 2 and Christian got 2, he can take care himself now, in fact you show him what to do, and his cars are always faster than
mine
btw you didnt do the 575 i do, you do 550, thats the one 2h has been testing with.

Just finished checking, and double checking the three cars I´m in charge of for White Mouse Racing, 2H and myself are stretching it a bit, but we
hope the Vikings Club will make a good apperance!!
All the testing times now mean nuff......................Its crunch time, and we are going to run on a nice clean, no glue, Big Blue!!
2H and myself have things sorted out, our cars are quite different, we do not run the same tires, so we will see who made the best descision.
Qualifying will be the big decider, we will all have to draw numbers from a bag to find our starting position for the qualifying run. And by JOE I
hope I dont draw nr. 1, because the first qualifyer will have a very slipery track. There is 40 registrered drivers for tomorrow, and there might just
still be some extra guys coming in, so to draw a number between 30 and 40 shold secure good track conditions!! A real lottery it is!!
But, the start is closing, and I guess that all we can do now is get a few hours of sleep, check the car one last time, and hope that "The Force Will
Be With Us................." And as we all know, the dark side allways looses in the end

Just adding the finishing touches to the last of the 3 cars I am in charge of - and what different cars they are.. 2 550 Maranellos and one 575
Maranello - does it get any more different..
Oh yeah, they are on 3 different chassises, a Plafit Plank, a Plafit Excel and a Metris Mk II - built to the drivers specs.
Yup, Pål and I are on different chassises, maybe different tires - I am still sandbagging - hoping to pull the right rabbit out of the hat - which
tires will 2H run on???
And we are down to the bare metal, no more practise - just a couple of laps to make sure the motor runs the right way and the tires are round :-)
Best regards
Henrik

Hi Tamar, it was a great race, even though the result was a bit disapointing for WMR!
However the added weight I put in between saturday and sunday gave me a much more stabel car, but cost somewhat in the topspeed area, but it took me
to the finals, which was my goal all along, so thanks for the advice!
Im working on a report of the whole weekends escapades and will poste it here sometime in the next 24 hours!

The Danish Nationals was a Tour de Force of Christian Høfler, who looks more and more like a Danish WizzKid, and I aint kiddin´!
If anyone had told me at Neumunster that Christian would be the 2006 Junior and Senior Danish Champion I would have shruged and laughed! Not because
Christian was bad, because he was not, but he surely did not master the mind games of a major race!
But believe me, he does today! During the whole of february and all the testing days he has been firmly in control. And he has been a transformed
person compared to what we saw in 2005. According to Keld, he even built hes own car and did the setup himself, though I seem to see a lot of
similaritis in the setup department with another well known WizzKid!
So come race weekend, we all saw a fairly relaxed Christian, smiling and setting fast laps during practise. The most nervous guy around was Keld, dont
really know why, because most of the time he was second fastest.
Qualifying came and the order of qualifying was by draw of a number. I was lucky and drew #37 out of 39, Christian drew #18 or 19. The track was very
green at first, and the lucky first qualifiers set slowish mid 8 times, and even the quicker guys had a bit of a problem. But the times slowly dropped
into the low 8s, and when Christian finaly came out he did the first sub 8 lap of 7.899 woaw, now we really had to fight. Next up of the big guns as
25th starter was 2H who could only manage a 8.242, not good enough, then in 35th Keld did a great jo with a 7.933 ohno, I really had to pick myself
up, I was 39th starter and on the last lap in my qualifying run i managed to do a 7.911 I was more than happy, it looked very promising, as it proved
to be second best in qualifying - alas it was not to be!
More to come.........
The complete data of the race can be found at http://www.osteguf.dk/dmca_dm.htm

congratulations
to Christian and Keld as well.
Just like the German Christian: time for the new Kid's to take over. Cause lately I'm starting to feel less like a kid then ever.
As Paal already mentioned, slotracing is 95% a mindgame, the other 5% is either luck or experience. I know when I was still young it was a lot easier to focus on racing and just your own result. Then it was
just a fun game in which I happened to be good at, but now-a-days it's become more and more wanting to beat this and this guy, or manage X00-laps and
that's were the little bug creeps in that can disrupt your plan/goal. Thinking about other people's car; either to service or observe when they're
going (to) fast.
9/10 times you win a race when it's just you and only you. Who your competitors are doesn't matter anymore, you just wanna stay ahead of them.
I never believed people when they told me like: "Wait till you're older". But now I'm (only) 20 and I'm already starting to feel it. And once
that happens you start doubting, not yourself in particular, but more important, your gutt-instinct. And after all this it's really hard to get that "winning mood" back. Even harder is to trust it again.
Sorry, I'm starting to sound like a Wizzard now.
Takes a different approach now to get to the "old" level again, a lot of and huge amounts of this lovely
Again congrats to everybody and hope to be seeing you guys soon, ciao
