Fox/Parama Motorholder for SLP
Gents,
since today I am driving Schoeler Chassis. Now I like to start with my first SLP Chassis. Which is the correct Motorholder for FOX and/or Parma
Motor. I got different Information about it.
Martin B. told me , that there is no official Motorholder for this kind of Motor and that there is only one Guy who make this by his own.
Other told me that I can use the Motorholder from the S24.
Can you pls. clarify?
thx
Jens

Hello.
Quick Answer.
If you are Talking about the Plafit FOX (also Fox II, Cheetah, etc.) you have one in the package, also for Bison for Parma you have to mofify the
Holder because for this kind of Motor Plafit don´t have a Holder.
Best Regards
Oscar

Hi Oscar,
I checked my two Plafit SLP but there is no FOX Holder. I found only one in my older Super24.

Fox motormount not in SLP kit
Hello guys...just abit of background info on why there's no fox/Parma motormount supplied with the SLP chasis
The SLP chassis was developed on request of the organisers of the German Slot Langstrekken Pokal (langstrekken= endurance) This series only uses the
Plafit Bison motor so no need for any other motor mounts.
It was a suprise to both Plafit and the SLP organisers that once released "everybody" wanted to have an SLP chassis.
The fox/parma motormount is only supplied with the S124 chassis kit.
You can order it seperately from any Plafit supplier.

As an addition to Tamar's post - you can use the Momo Fox motorholder if you want the ProSlot to drop into the motorwell of the SLP chassis.
Best regards

Little information from my side....
the fox motor holder supplied from plafit will not lower the motor! you'll have to use either the momo holder or the one ralph an i used at the imca
worlds 2007. it comes from a guy called "felgendreher", i think his real name is jürgen stüdemann. this guy will race in martin bartelmes' slp
team this season, so i think i won't be a problem to find that motor holder in martin's web shop quite soon. but btw it can also be found in
matthias' werkshop, see link below:
Fox (Proslot) Motorholder
hope this could help

Actually there is also this solution. A german guy made it(not Jürgen Stüdeman). The good thing about this one is that you have the
"gegenhalter",- the only foxholder for the Slp i have seen so far with that.
