As the original July date for Round #3 has been taken over by the IMCA Worlds.....
And when planning for a race in October we find a busy calendar....
And there would be a six months break between R#2 Merlijn and R#3 Alsdorf.....
I thought it might be a good idea to move the race forward and have it run late in May or early in June.
That way the EEC would be over by the time the Worlds arrives

Hi Guy's
Try to think about this date , the weekend of 10 and 11 May its the weekend of Pentecost ( Pinksteren )
This will give all the racers more time to get back home in a decent time
It's a christian holliday , and as far as I know we slotracers only beleve in the Holy slot

Hello Tamar,
Basically all of thee dates except May 17-18 are fine for us, but I can strongly agree with Gert regarding the May 10-11 weekend, because of the
monday being a day off in most countries. So our preference would also go to May 10-11...
Would you please correct date set under our race : March 29, not April.... before somone becomes confused...
Fola, it is really nice to see that finally some good use is been made of one of those empty, old and unused buildings standing all around the world
that used to belong to a former sect . I suggest we all do the same in our country...!

We would hate to see the race in Alsdorf moved to the spring/early summer.
It fits really bad into my work calendar!!
Please stay with the october date!!!
Hello Guys
Sorry Pål but October is quite full, for 2008 we're not the only organisation having races planned @ Alsdorf.
So pick one of the date's that's least conflicting...
As for Gert & Raymond's suggestion on the Pentacost weekend (10-11 May).....
I would prefer to have at least 8 weeks between events which would result in something like this.
02 Feb< 8 weeks> 29 March< 8 weken> 25 May.
So far 3 reactions...what do you guys want, I ask you to react so far 3 out of 24 ( Virage, Sloefspeed, Whitemouse) did...
You guys want something to say in this matter ....or do you want me to make the decisions?
Hmm, you run a hard bargain Tamar! I commited Whitemouse to the EEC on the notion of two races in the winter/spring and one in the fall/winther.
For me personally it is a pain in the arse that you now start moving the last race from october to may!!
I dont even know why, because I have absolutely no clue about all the races you talk about in the fall!!??!!
Please enlighten me - where are the dates???
I would really like to race at Alsdorf again, but as it is right now the chances to do that at the EEC is, well, slim............
But, enough of my sarcasm, and general bitching and complaining!!!
If the race have to be moved, the I guess that th end of may might be acceptable, however I have no confirmation from my fellow team drivers that it
is OK, so stay tuned.
If I where a cartoon I would say #!!%++%##
Hi,
the weekend of Pentecost (Pinksteren ) is cool for Damstredet.
As for may there are a series of public hollydas in Norway. For those of the racers that have children 17th of may is difficult since it is the
"liberty day", and this is one of the biggest days for children in Norway (almost as big as christmas day).
maybe not so suggestiv this but betther than notting:-)

Tamar,
I can understand Gert & Raymond point of view, but don't forget we will race EEC on last we of March just followed by the 24H van Merlijn ! That
means not less than three 24H races in a month if you validate Pentecost for EEC in Aldorf :o(
OK, can be done but judicious ?
No other request for a date... a shame that October is so busy, it's my birthday month ;o)
Establishing calendar is a hard work indeed...
Kind regards,
Philippe.
Hi,
I just found the 'INTERNATIONAL SLOT-RACE CALENDAR 2008' from IMCA's site. There is date May 10-11 (tbc) for 3rd round of EEC.
I have to say this weekend is impossible for our team.
