Thought I'd try a TSRF chassis as a change of pace-
HI there
I have built a 24 TSRF with Tamiya Sauber C9 and a Plafit Excel with Carrera Corvette C6R. At the moment, both have even lap times, but are very
different around the track, The Plafit has a straight advantage, but the TSRF owns the corners.
How do yours compare ?
What is you total weight for the TSRF, and for the Plafit ?
T
The TSRF chassis was an experiment with Ready to Run chassis, and is quite a bit slower than my 1/24th scratchbuilt cars/chassis which is de riguer at Pelican Park Speedway.
To better respond to an earlier query about how TSRF chassis compare with Plafit, I can't make such a comparison because I race at Pelican Park Speedway perhaps the only exclusively 1/24th real scale, including a
scenery track, in the U.S.
Our purpose is the building and racing scratchbult cars. An example of what we do is shown here. I took a new Carrera Exclusiv Corvette C6R and
changed it substantially- This car's performace on our twisty road course is about 30% faster than my TSRF Murcielago- more powerful motor, a chassis
design which has much better handling characteristics.
