During the first race of our SMC24 championship, one engine was defectuous after 3 of the 3 h 30 of the race.
This engine was a classic Bison.
Other characteristics of this race and the car were:
-Voltage: 18 v
-track: a Carrera track including a long straightline (12 meters)
-Weight of the car: 205 grs
-Gear ratio choosen by the team: 12 X 36
-chassis Plafit in liner
-Engine: brand new...
-team: competent...
My position is a little bit delicate because we provide the engines to the teams...
I would like to know if it is normal to "burn" a Bison motor in these conditions and i would like to know what is your decision when a engine
provided by you in one of your races becomes KO ?
Thank you for the help
... and sorry for my poor english writing...

Hi Stéphane
In Denmark with supply the team with a spare motor, and if the race director dosn't have one we allowed them to use one of their own motors.
otherwise it is not normal that a bison burn out, but of course it can happen. more likely it is just a motor out of balance that a running bad, and
also here we allowed the team to change the motor, anyway they cant win anymore and we are all out to have fun on the track not just looking at the
others ;-)
