Since the Badet Club was closed down a year ago we have had no 1.24 track in Oslo. Aboute a year ago Damstredet opend a new club, but only with 1:32
tracks. But now at last we are building a new 4 lane 1:24 track at the Damstredet Club. The track is redy milled and in sections and we started the
mounting this Saturday. Som pix from the building process can be found here:

very nice track. A 4 lane single over pass MTT.
What is the footprint of the track and did you rout by hand or by CNC?
Thanks, Terry
Terry,
The track is routed by CNC at a local firm here in Norway. For us 4 lanes was what we could do given the space available at our club. The track itself
measures approximately 4,20 X 7 meters. It gives us 30 meters of track in each lane. The length difference is just 20 cm from the longest to the
shortest lane. And we can do a race with 7-8 persons and still have a reasonable marshal distribution.
The track is originally drawn by Jan Roesdorf from Australia, but we have made some minor modifications. The Layout is also quite like the track that
was used at ISRA worlds in Sweeden some years ago, now situated in Copenhagen, but ours is of course smaller than the 8 liner ISRA track.
Cheers
Rolf
