Waiting Game
Citing low grip and no power Tamar had fnished a low 8th in race 1,
which dropped him down to the second heat for race 2.
In the short inetrmission between the races, Nick de Wachter had to
do some educated guess work while changing the Dome's set-up.
They proved to be spot on, the car now handling to his liking, Tamar
immidiately took the lead and drove a stunning 187,82 laps.
With the six fastest drivers starting their heat he would have to
wait for 24minutes to seer if his result was enough to win!
This time not Nick but Mack de Wachter took the lead with Dennis Vogel
in hot pursuit.
After 2 segments Dennis, managed to pass the Toyota for 1st, constantly
lapping his Panoz in the low 7.5's.
Running an avrerage 32 laps per segment he wins his heat with 187laps...and
16 track segments. Just 66 segments behind the RfH Dome, Tamar"s
waiting game has paid of!
2 laps behind, Nick finishes 2nd having passed both Serge Hauwer and
Mack in a late charge with his Enzo.
A further lap down the BMW's of Rob de Ridder and Marcel Oosterling
finish 5th and 6th.
What a race it was!
