Although he'd been building modelcars for years, Scheveningen was the first time that Posrche fan Thomas Gröpner ran his car in a 1/24 competition.
After a steady run in Race 1, gremlins hit the Wilkingson Porsche in race 2. As Rob de Ridder offered to fix the car properly he other pilots agreed to interrupted the race.
It took Rob sevrals pitstops but in the end the car ran like never before.
Later Thomas could return the favour, by offering to pick up Rob's wife..so Rob could stay an race his Final.
