Losing the "Longtail" and adding some extra cooling ducts in the process, the car looked lean and mean. With its experienced crew it was able to lap all lanes below the 9 sec. With their pace they put a firm pressure on the Toyota and took the lead as soon as "das Werk" hit trouble. But just as they thought that victory was in their reach the gearbox cried enough!
Clearly, what the team lacks is not speed nor looks, but luck! Not first but third place would be theirs in Hamburg.
